We loved going to RCs pizza however tonight we ordered a pizza 45 mins later it came out soggy and cold we were told they couldn't refund our money and I had to wait for a new pizza or i would be out the $31 I spent. Beware!

TinktheSprite --- 10 years ago -

I never liked them because it costs $31 for a pizza! Even when it's hot, it wasn't worth $31.

The Sicilian --- 10 years ago -

FWIW, I agree with 8675309

Matalli --- 10 years ago -

We also like it there, but I was a bit disappointed last week when they would not take the coupon that I received as part of a local birthday mailer. Yes, it was expired by 6 days, but we are regular customers. Many local businesses take their own expired coupons (Alspaugh's and Hallmark to name two), and even if they did not want to give me the free pizza, they could have offered a discount. I was also a few days late redeeming a birthday coupon at The Palm. They said no problem and served me my FREE 3 lb. lobster!

Italianos pizza......the best.

Just stuck --- 10 years ago -

RC's pretty much suxs all the way around.

Four Pinocchios --- 10 years ago -

Never have liked the people at RC's. I do like the pizza, especially the buffalo chicken. But like others have said, it is hard to shell out $31 for one pizza.

I started going to Wiseguy's pizza where Specs, Subway, and Baskin Robbins is located. They make the pizza in front of you so there is no hanky panky with the ingredients.

Their veggies are also fresh and don't come pre-packaged. I watched a kid chopping bell pepper one day and he cut himself. He left to get a Band-Aid and an older employee came over and tossed the knife in a sink, threw all of the chopped bell pepper away - as well as the uncut portion of bell pepper - and then scrubbed the countertop down. There was not any visible blood or anything but he was just taking precautions. Kid returned with a clean knife, gloved hand, and started chopping again.

They also have a soft-serve ice cream machine and will give you a free cone with purchase if you ask.

Thanks for the heads up...I like J Christophers.

Mago4058 --- 10 years ago -

We liked them because at the beginning they had pizza similar to NY. However it has declined and yesterday was the last straw. I just couldn't imagine in all my restaurant experience ever telling a customer no I won't refund you for this crummy cold pizza because you ate some . Taking care of it via my credit card company, just wanted others to know !

$31.00 for a pizza?

Umm, no.

Prolix Raconteur --- 10 years ago -

a birthday coupon at The Palm. They said no problem and served me my FREE 3 lb. lobster!

Forget pizza! How does one go about getting on The Palm's birthday list???

fliptin --- 10 years ago -

i agree! last 2x i was there we had aweful service. 1st time, ordered 3 meals and they came out 15-20 minutes apart. who does that? the LAST time, we ordered 2 calzones. it took soooo long to get our food, we had to box it up and take it to go. we are done with them!

RiteWingKing --- 10 years ago -

Italianos pizza......the best.

I have been going to Papa Murphy's because the pizza stinks around here.

My friend brought over Domino's. Ended up throwing it out.

Never been to Italianos so I will need to check it out.

ProudTXN --- 10 years ago -

Best $30 pizza I ever had was Giordanos in Chicago. Mmmm-mmmmmm! My first visit to the area. That thing weighted a ton too. Quite interesting to this southern gal!

Mago4058 --- 10 years ago -

$31 included drinks and we got a specialty pizza. I'll have to try papa Murphy's.

zapper007 --- 10 years ago -

We have never had any issues with RC's - great food...jmho

Pizza at J Christopher's is also very good...

them --- 10 years ago -

Rc's has jumped the shark.

Try Pappa Murphys. Better yet, cook your Papa Murphys on the grill. Requires a pizza stone and taking it off that paper disk but it's awesome.

$31.00 for a pizza?

Better be one hell of a huge pizza.

RedMulch --- 10 years ago -

I like Papajohns. Sometimes i pay $31, but that is for multiple pizzas.(2 large, or 3 medium) What do you guys pay for pizza delivery? And i have not tried Italianos pizza, as they have too many other good things.

Matalli --- 10 years ago -

J Christopher was good until the new owners bought it. It's not quite as good.

Prolix,
It's part of the 837 club at The Palm.

RC'S PIZZA --- 10 years ago -

Mago4058, I am VERY surprised and sorry for your experience at my Kingwood location. I assure you those are NOT my business practices, nor my expectation. Please e-mail me and allow me to provide my cell # so we can talk. Customer service is as important to me as our recipes and high standards for our food. I am only as good as my weakest employee. Training and implementation are very key in our employees running our business while keeping our guests happy and well serviced. Please e-mail me. Thank you for all your past business & I hope we can continue on for years to come with our professional relationship. I appreciate ALL of my guests and their feedback.

Great to see RC's respond and take ownership. I trust they will get this resolved and continue to earn our respect and business.

TinktheSprite --- 10 years ago -

^Ditto that. You're a class act RC!

RC'S PIZZA --- 10 years ago -

Matalli, please e-mail me as well. They should have taken your b-day coupon as well. That's WHY we give you a b-day gift. Because we want to thank you for your business. Not upset you. 😞 Sorry. rc@rcspizza.com

ProudNana --- 10 years ago -

Totally agree! It is difficult for a small business to succeed, & employees don't always treat the customer as they should.

Brooklyn Pizza in Humble...so worth the drive!!

justcat --- 10 years ago -

@navymom. That's where we eat in Chicago as well. Sooo good.

ProudTXN --- 10 years ago -

I loved it so much I ordered one online and had it fedexed. Wasn't the same though. Read somewhere that Gino's is coming to the Houston area.

BalletMom --- 10 years ago -

RCs did the same thing to me about my birthday coupon being expired... By less than a week!! Who does that? doesn't seem like a one time fluke.

RC'S PIZZA --- 10 years ago -

Refugee, maybe same employee?? Not sure. Sorry. E-mail me also, rc@rcspizza.com. Easy fix. New b-day gift certificate. So sorry for our lapse on judgement. Obviously a training point that needs to be addressed. I WILL address it. Again, sorry. Please e-mail me.

Lord Cheezus DeSufferbus --- 10 years ago -

Brooklyn Pizza in Humble...so worth the drive!!?

Yep!

I've tried to like RC's since it's so close to my house, but the quality and service have been so spotty over the last few years, I just quit trying.

RC'S PIZZA --- 10 years ago -

Lonesuffers......sorry ur name is WAY TOO LONG. ?? pls e-mail me and I'll provide my # so we can discuss all our failures and short comings. Thank you. RC rc@rcspizza.com

The Sicilian --- 10 years ago -

I agree with previous posts, Italianos is worth the drive. Amazing pizza and service!

Four Pinocchios --- 10 years ago -

RC, are you the older dude with the mustache and goatee that works there? (and by older, I mean older than the teens that work there and older than the photo in your profile picture, but not old like as in 60)

If that is you, you are not all that friendly either....EVER. You need an attitude adjustment as well.

Online ordering would be nice so we wouldn't have to deal with the rude azzes that answer your telephone. Is that ever going to be in the works?

freebyrdll --- 10 years ago -

old like as in 60)

WHOA!!! I resemble that remark.... ;)

Lord Cheezus DeSufferbus --- 10 years ago -

Lonesuffers......sorry ur name is WAY TOO LONG. ?? pls e-mail me and I'll provide my # so we can discuss all our failures and short comings. Thank you. RC rc@rcspizza.com?

Thanks, but no thanks. You've had plenty of time to have your employees trained correctly. I'm always willing to give a restaurant a second chance. but I've gone far past that already with your establishment. There's much better pizza available with much better attitudes just as close by as you, no reason for me to waste any more time and money on something that experience has shown me to be disappointing.

SwimSwim --- 10 years ago -

old like as in 60)

WHOA!!! I resemble that remark.... ;)?

uh hello!! 60 is old?

RC'S PIZZA --- 10 years ago -

lonesuffers.......I understand and apologize again. We continually have employee changes b/c of young adults going off to college, separation, etc. It is a continual effort.

RC'S PIZZA --- 10 years ago -

Four Pinnochios, yes that is me. I am sorry for any unpleasant encounter you and I have ever exchanged. I offer no excuses only an apology. I try to make my guests feel VERY welcomed and appreciated, b/c they are. I may be stressed as a result of perhaps an occurrence, but never mean to show it. Again I am sorry. I will certainly work on it and be more aware of how I come across. I do not plan on adding on-line ordering anytime soon. I'm sorry.
